Getting Started

Visit the Advanced Search page from the main menu or go directly to: laptops.pk/advanced-search

You'll see a clean search interface with multiple filter options. Let's go through each one.

Search Filters Explained

1. Keywords (Multiple Search Terms)

This is your most powerful search tool. You can add multiple keywords to find specific laptops.

How to use:

• Type a keyword in the input field (e.g., "Dell")
• Press Enter or click the + button
• The keyword appears as a colored tag below
• Add more keywords to narrow your search
• Click the X on any tag to remove it

Examples:

• Search: Dell + i5 + 8GB → Finds Dell laptops with i5 processor and 8GB RAM
• Search: Lenovo + Gaming → Finds Lenovo gaming laptops
• Search: HP + 13th + SSD → Finds HP laptops with 13th gen processors and SSD

Pro Tip: All keywords must match. The more keywords you add, the more specific your results become.

2. Condition

Filter laptops by their condition:

• New - Brand new, never used
• Used - Previously owned, various conditions
• Unset - See everything

3. Location

Find laptops near you by entering your city or area Karachi, Lahore etc.

How to use:

• Start typing your city name
• Suggestions will appear automatically
• Click on your city from the list
• Or type the full name manually

Examples: Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Multan, etc.

4. Brand

Choose from popular laptop brands:

• Dell
• HP
• Lenovo
• Apple
• Acer
• Asus
• And many more...

Select "All Brands" to see laptops from every manufacturer.

5. Generation

Filter by processor generation to find laptops with the latest or specific Intel/AMD generations.

Options: 1st through 14th Generation

What to choose:

• 11th-13th Gen - Latest, fastest processors
• 8th-10th Gen - Good balance of performance and price
• Below 8th Gen - Budget-friendly options

6. Price Range

Set your budget with minimum and maximum price limits.

How to use:

• Enter Min Price (e.g., 30000)
• Enter Max Price (e.g., 80000)
• Leave blank for no limit

Example: Min: 50,000 | Max: 100,000 = Laptops between Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 100,000

Searching and Viewing Results

Step 1: Set Your Filters

Choose the filters that matter to you. You don't need to fill every field - use only what's important for your search.

Step 2: Click "Search Laptops"

The purple button at the bottom will search based on your filters.

Step 3: Browse Results

• Results appear below with laptop images, prices, and specs
• See generation, condition, location, and posting date
• Click any laptop to view full details

Step 4: Use Pagination

• Click Next to see more results
• Click Previous to go back
• Results show 16 laptops per page

Special Features

Share Your Search

After searching, a shareable link appears. This is perfect for:

• Saving your search for later
• Sharing specific results with friends
• Bookmarking your favorite search combinations

How to use:

1. Perform your search
2. Look for the blue "Share this search" box
3. Click the Copy button
4. Share the link via WhatsApp, email, etc.

Reset All Filters

Need to start over? Click the Reset All button to clear all filters and return to a blank search.

Tip 1: Start Broad, Then Narrow

Begin with one or two filters, see the results, then add more filters to refine.

Tip 2: Use Keywords Wisely

Add specific features you need:
